1. Who we are and these terms
Konvert Technologies Ltd (“we”, “us”) operates the DocTemplates store (doctemplates.co.uk) and sells editable document templates in digital form.

These terms apply to all purchases made on the DocTemplates website. By placing an order you accept these terms. You must be at least 18 years old to place an order.
2. Nature of the products — starting points only
The products are editable document templates — general starting points and models — sold to and usable by anyone, whether a business or an individual. They are not tailored to your circumstances. You must review each template and adapt it to your own situation before you rely on it.
3. Not a law firm — no legal advice
Konvert Technologies Ltd is not a firm of solicitors and does not provide legal advice. No solicitor–client (or lawyer–client) relationship is created by your purchase or use of a template. We only sell templates; you may use them however you wish.
4. The products and delivery (digital — no physical shipping)
The products are digital files (DOCX and/or PDF). Delivery happens immediately after your payment is confirmed: you download the files from the order confirmation page and from a link sent to you by email. Download links remain available for at least 12 months from the date of purchase. There is no physical shipping.
5. Prices and payment
Prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and include VAT at the standard rate of 20% where applicable. Payment is handled by our payment provider. You will receive an order confirmation by email.
6. Licence to use the templates
On purchase you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence for one (1) business or one (1) individual.
- You may use the templates for your own normal business or personal purposes, and edit them freely.
- You may share the completed documents (for example, a finished contract) with the other parties to that document in the ordinary course of business communication.
- You may not resell, redistribute, sublicense, publish or share the blank or unfilled templates themselves, in their original or edited form.
- You may not use the templates to build or provide a competing template product or service.
7. Updates
The templates are maintained and updated regularly. The version you receive is the one available at the time of your purchase. We are not obliged to supply later updates to a template you have already bought.
8. Refunds — all sales final
Because the products are digital files delivered and accessible immediately, all sales are final and no refunds are given. By buying and downloading or accessing a template you expressly consent to immediate delivery and acknowledge that you thereby lose any statutory right of withdrawal, cancellation or cooling-off that would otherwise apply (for UK consumers, this is the 14-day right under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, lost under regulation 37 once supply of the digital content begins). If a file is technically broken or a download fails, we will re-send or fix it at no charge — this is not a refund. See our Shipping & Refunds page for full details.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
The templates are provided “as is”, with no warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that they are fit for any particular purpose, free from errors, or up to date with the current law. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all express and implied warranties.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Konvert Technologies Ltd is not responsible or liable for anything arising from the templates, the website or their use — including any damages, losses, lost revenue or profits, lost data, business interruption, or any direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages. Our total liability is in any event limited to the amount you paid for the relevant product.
Your statutory rights: nothing in these terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot be excluded by law, including a consumer’s mandatory statutory rights. For UK consumers, this includes the Consumer Rights Act 2015 (digital content must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described) and liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
11. Intellectual property
The content of DocTemplates (the template design, text, graphics, name and branding) is protected by copyright and remains the property of Konvert Technologies Ltd. The licence in section 6 is limited and non-exclusive. Content that you add to a template yourself remains yours.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Changes do not affect orders you have already placed — those are governed by the terms in force at the time of purchase.
13. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Finland, and disputes are subject to the competent courts of Finland. This is without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights of a consumer’s country of residence: if you are a consumer, you may also rely on the mandatory law of your home country and bring proceedings before its local courts. EU consumers may also use the European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution platform.
